If you haven't read our newest columns "A Seat In The Barber's Chair" (BADD Urban Dolls) & "Saloon Talk" (B.A.D.D. Magazine) make sure you grab our latest issues to read these controversial columns with 4 guys basically keeping it real while discussing some pretty tough topics.
"Who said Tupac wasn’t at least Bisexual? Aren’t all of the hip-hop dudes with the tough image playing for both sides anyway? Pants falling off their ass, showing off like broads, always bitching and in front of a camera phone like women. Sounds pretty questionable if you ask me." - Chris Parks
This quote opened up the very heated discussion regarding how Young Thug could be viewed as a homosexual WHILE Tupac was seen as a thug. These 4 gentleman were in for one of the most intense conversations so far but some of the readers responded with emails and it was clear that they didn't take lightly of the Young Thug & Tupac comparison which stemmed from two interesting images.
1. Tupac in bathtub covered in jewelry - 2. Young Thug nude covering privates with hands.
Although the column is highly praised, it also raised eyebrows. One reader wrote - "you guys aren't true hiphop fans and don't understand the culture if you believe Tupac could of been Bi."
We've included some quotes from this controversial discussion below.
"Alan: Tupac is a legend though, and shouldn’t be seen in the same light as Young Thug in any sort of way.
Chris: What makes him a legend? He made good music and a couple of nice films. Nothing extraordinary, but still good. How do we determine his legendary status?
Alan: You guys are comparing a dress wearing, fingernail polish having, lipstick in a purse carrying rapper like Young Thug with a street legend like Tupac. This conversation angers me.
Chris: Some of the most undercover aids/HIV spreading guys are from the same “Streets” you’re claiming Tupac is a God of. Your point isn’t valid in no sort of way.
Chris: Wasn’t Tupac like a dancer during the digital underground days?
Alan: So was Puff Daddy.
Chris: Puff Daddy is a dancer period. He dances on everything and in videos since the beginning of his reign in the hip-hop world. Dancing doesn’t make him homo but I’ve never seen Puff Daddy in a bathtub naked with jewelry on his balls."
